Our journey through time starts at the Olympic Ski Stadium with stories about the beginning of wintersports in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Olympic Winter Games of 1936, and the landmark of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, our ski jump.
We continue to the Olympic Ice Stadium, , where the Norwegian figure skater Sonja Henie won Olympic Gold. Then on to Lake Riessersee, formerly the most famous ice rink in Germany and site of the Olympic speed skating competitions. There we also discover the historic bob sled run and its history.
Finally, we will show you, where Olympic skiers competed for the first time in an Olympic alpine sking competition, and where the ski racers during the 2011 World Skiing Championships launched themselves down the Free Fall.
Due to the distances between the sites, you should travel in your own van/bus or we help you with a rental.
