Partnachklamm gorge

Hike with us through the Partnach Gorge and enjoy this unique natural wonder within walking distance of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Hear about the geological formation of the gorge and the terrifying wood drifts of earlier times.

From the upper gorge exit, we either hike back through the impressive gorge or climb up to the idyllic hamlet of Graseck, approx. 130 metres higher up. Here you can stop for a bite to eat. From there we cross the Iron Bridge, which spans the gorge at a height of 70 metres, down to the gorge entrance and back to the ski stadium.

Sturdy footwear, sure-footedness and rain protection (even in fine weather) are required. Participation is at your own risk and responsibility.
